I had so much fun at the #BridalBazaar at the San Diego Convention Center this weekend! It was great meeting all the new 2016 and 2017 Brides & Grooms. Here is a look at our booth featuring a lot of new designs for 2016 that are not even on the website yet. Invitation consultations are booking fast and I’m looking forward to all the new great designs to be created!
Wedding season has begun!
It’s that time of year again when the hustle and bustle of the wedding season begins! I have already begun meeting with brides and designing some great new invitations for 2016 weddings. I am also preparing for my booth at the Bridal Bazaar which is this Sunday, January 31st at the downtown convention center. I’m in booth #522 so be sure to stop by and say hello and see what’s new with wedding invitations.

Wedding Invitation Etiquette: How to Add “and guest”
If you wish to encourage a single friend to invite a guest, find out the guest’s name, especially if the couple is engaged, living in the same house, or seeing each other on an exclusive basis. If they live at different addresses, it is considerate to send an invitation to the guest directly. In this modern day many people still use double wedding envelopes, but an increasing number do not. So the question of how to add “and guest” often comes up.
INNER/OUTER ENVELOPE:
Outer envelope to “Mr. James Smith”
Inner envelope to “Mr. James Smith and guest.”
SINGLE ENVELOPE
It’s always nice if you can put the actual guests’ name on the envelope instead of the impersonal “and guest”. But I know that’s not always possible. It is definitely okay to write “Mr. James Smith and guest.” on the envelope.
However, if you do not want to use “and guest” on the envelope you can include a short note with your invitation: “Dear James, “We hope you can come! If you’d like to bring a guest, you’re certainly welcome to.” Best, Laura.”

Beach Wedding Invitation – Testimonial Review
I was so delighted to receive a wonderful wedding review on Wedding Wire and Yelp this week from a wonderful couple who were married recently in October. I simply loved their retro beach wedding invitation that we created.
Here is what the couple had to say about their wedding experience with Inviting Invites:
